Do you test your ingredients and products?
Yes. All Dr. Ferg's ingredients are tested when they arrive at our Kansas facility to confirm identity, purity, quality and safety, and are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis. After manufacturing, the finished product is third-party tested for safety. We believe you should know what's in your dog's supplement, and know it's been checked.
Are Dr. Ferg's ingredients human-grade?

Why do you use New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussel?
Dr. Ferg's Green-Lipped Mussel is native to New Zealand and naturally contains marine nutrients that help support healthy joints and everyday mobility. We source ours from New Zealand's clean coastal waters and selected it specifically for our Mobility formula.
Why are there ingredients other than the active ingredients?
Our functional base ingredients have jobs too. Ingredients such as chicken, chicken bone broth, coconut oil and oat flour help create the flavor, texture, freshness and consistency of a soft chew dogs will actually want to eat every day. We don't think “inactive” should mean unexplained.
